AFTER BREAKFAST EXIT TO THE TWIN CRATERES- AND TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT FOR OUR EXIT FLIGHT.
DESCRIPTION OF THE VISITING PLACES.
Day 1 QUITO – SAN CRISTOBAL.- PLAYA LA LOBERIA.
Quito – Galápagos, (San Cristóbal), transfer to the hotel, lunch and in the afternoon visit to the beach the lobería, here we will walk through the cliffs where you can see marine iguanas, frigates, gulls bifurcated tail blue-footed boobies etc . Return to the beach to do activities, such as snorkelling, surfing next to the playful sea lions, and sea turtles.
OPTION 1.-
LOBOS ISLAND/ OCHOA BEACH
It is a white sand beach where there is a small colony of Galápagos sea lions, made up mainly of single wolves, from the wolves island, one of the outstanding flora species in Playa Ochoa is the Matazarno for its hardness and long duration. Behind the beach there is a pool where you can see migratory and coastal birds, its white sand beach is full of hermit crabs. It is ideal for snorkeling, kayaking and swimming.
ISLOTE ISLA LOBOS
It is a small flat island, a few meters away from San Cristobal Island. It has a coastal vegetation of plants tolerant to salt water, on which you can see a small colony of frigates. You can also see sea lions, blue footed boobies, a beautiful natural breakwater and other botanical, ecological and recreational attractions, such as swimming and snorkeling.
OPTION 2.- LEON DORMIDO BEACH CERRO BRUJO.
The Leon Dormido are 2 volcanic rocks which have absolutely vertical walls that form a small channel. The highest part reaches 144mt above sea level. It is a site used by seabirds that come to feed you can snorkel and dive deep.
Day 3 SAN CRISTOBAL – ISABELA ISLAND (CENTRO CRIANZA / HUMEDALES)
Breakfast, transfer to the airport to take the plane that will take us to Isabela Island, accommodation and visit the wetlands and the turtle breeding center ARNALDO TUPIZA.
In the afternoon visit to Tintoreras islet. A short walk, to see blue footed boobies, Galapagos penguins, marine iguanas, and blue sharks, snorkell.
OPTION 1.- Day 4 ISABELA ISLAND (VOLCAN SIERRA NEGRA – CONCHA PERLA)
Breakfast, transfer to the slopes of the volcano, here we will start a walk to Chico volcano where we will appreciate the lava landscapes. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon we will snorkel in the natural lake of CONCHA PERLA.
OPTION 2.- TUNNELS: ISABELA ISLAND (TUNNELS)
Los Túneles is one of the best places for surface diving because its waters are calm, clear and shallow. This is a unique site thanks to its wonderful geological formations, since the lava flows have formed a large number of arches or tunnels, inside and outside the water, where several species are sheltered of the marine fauna of the Islands, SUCH AS RAYS, SEA TURTLES, SHARKS OF with flippers, CABALLITOS DE MAR ETC.
Day 5.- ISABELA – SANTA CRUZ – CENTRO CRIANZA Y TORTUGA BAY
Transfer to Santa Cruz Island, accommodation, visit to the Fausto Llerena breeding center, on this site you can see giant tortoise species, from several islands, such as Santiago, Española, Pinzon, and Pinta, as well as the iguana breeding center land, we can also have information concerning the Islands and studies of endangered species, visit to Bahia Tortuga, white sand beach, which is named for being a nesting site for sea turtles, it was divided into 2 inlets called Playa brava, and gentle beach, along the path you can see the vegetation of the lower area of the island, as well as a variety of birds, such as finches, marias, galapagos pigeons, and Galapagos reptiles. On the beach you can see a variety of birds that come to feed, ideal for surfing, and swimming.
Day 6: ISLA SEYMOUR BACHAS / O AVAILABILITY.
It is an island that was formed by uplift of underwater volcanic lava, This is one of the best places for the observation of seabirds, such as blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, swallow-tailed gulls and others. Seymour, is home to one of the few frigate colonies, both the magnifice and the large, in the coastal area you can walk on the path because there are certain nesting sites for marine iguanas.
Day 7: ISLOTE BARTOLOME / ACCORDING TO AVAILABILITY.
It is a famous place of the Galapagos Islands the main attractions are the beaches, the sand dunes and the pinnacle, the two beaches that are connected by a small path and are preferred for the nesting of sea turtles. The beach located to the north is the ideal place for surface diving, the southern beach of the island is a nesting site for sea turtles and you can see very close to the shore white tip sharks (blue sharks) that are resting.
Bartolomé Island is considered one of the main sites where you can observe penguin colonies that nest in the small bay.
Day 8: SANTA CRUZ – CRATERES GEMELOS – BALTRA
The Twins are subsidence formed by volcanic eruptions, and it is the only place where you can find a forest of Scale plant endemic to this area, as well as some species of finches, and the witch bird. – BALTRA.
